Piezomotors For Linear Or Rotary Motion

Sept. 2, 2004
The HR Series of piezoelectric motors range in size from a single-element (0.45 kg of force) to an eight-element (3.6 kg of force) motor capable of driving both linear and rotary stages.

The motors feature a wide dynamic range of speed from several microns/sec to 250 mm/sec, inherent braking, and the ability to eliminate servo dither in static positions. The units are easily mounted to traditional low-friction stages or other devices.
