Schottky Rectifiers

Jan. 11, 2007
With a 1.1-mm height and 4.8 X 6.7-mm footprint, the family of miniature-packaged MOS barrier and planar Schottky rectifiers handle voltages from 20 to 100 V and currents from 3 to 12 A.

All the devices feature a low forward-voltage drop and special wide-bottom-plate designs that provide greater heat dissipation than other packages of similar sizes. The single or dual-chip, surface-mount SMPC (TO-277A) package features solder pads that are compatible with other SMDs, so no modification is needed to the PCB layout for use as higher-performing upgrades to existing devices.
