The Microgage 2000 machinery-alignment kit is for checking stage and slide travel to measure straightness and run out.

MACHINERY-ALIGNMENT KIT

It is particularly adept at checking the perpendicularity of cutting tools and the squareness of machine assemblies. The kit consists of a laser transmitter that projects a working beam up to 80 ft. A receiver and digital display catch the laser beam and give a readout for each alignment task. The laser and display operate on batteries for portability. A computer interface lets readings be analyzed, plotted, and stored.
