Eleven-Megapixel Camera

Jan. 6, 2005
Targeted for machine-vision, medical, and other high-definition image applications, 11-megapixel cameras use progressive-scan CCDs to capture 5 fps at 4,000 2,672-pixel resolution.

Programmable parameters control image resolution, frame rate, horizontal and vertical binning, gain, and offset. Specifications include asynchronous external CC1 and hardware triggering, pre-exposure, capture duration, electronic shutter, long-time integration, strobe output, and gamma correction from 1.0 to 0.45. The CameraLink interface includes 8, 10, or 12 bits/pixel selectable over one or two outputs, camera control, and asynchronous serial communication on a single cable. The IPX11M5 has a monochrome imager, while the IPX11M5C has a Bayer-filter color imager.
