Directional Control Valves

June 7, 2006
CDS 100 Series Circuit valves join the parallel and tandem valves in CDS 60 and CDS 100 model sizes.

The CDS 100 targets commercial-class asphalt pavers. A lower pressure drop boosts machine efficiency. The Series Circuit is useful where multiple functions operate simultaneously, machine horsepower and pump flow are limited, or flow amplification is needed for fast response. Each work function is then capable of full pump flow, regardless of the number of work functions in use.

The CDS 60 model includes enclosed levers and joysticks for added contamination protection in extreme applications such as backhoe loaders. In addition, optional metering spools let operators more precisely control the boom, swing, and stabilizer circuits. All the valves compensate for lost horsepower in equipment that adheres to "Tier" emission requirements and incorporate smaller hydraulic systems.
