Six-Axis Robots

Sept. 15, 2005
AdeptViper six-axis articulated robots are for precision material handling and packaging and assembly where speed and payload capacity are key.

There are two models, the s650 and the s850. The s650 sports a 653-mm reach with ±0.020-mm repeatability, a maximum payload of 5 kg, cycle time of 0.49 sec, and a 200 200-mm footprint. The s850 has the same payload and footprint, but a longer 854-mm reach (±0.03 mm) and a 0.59-sec cycle time. Both can be table or ceiling mounted.
