Dual Voltage Regulator

June 7, 2006
A dual voltage regulator accepts 120 and 240-V input and delivers 120 or 240-V outputs, which can be adjusted with a panel switch.

Lamps indicate the presence of input voltages and which voltage is applied to the primary windings. The regulator is rated at 2,500 W, and output voltages in either mode are held within ±3% over an input voltage range of 9% to 20%. Inputs include a wideband filter-suppressor to reduce disturbances from power lines and other connected devices.
