Optimized beams eliminate the need for alignment and adjustment of the emitter and receiver. The sensor's 19.3-mm-long housing, made from high-grade polyamide 12, encapsulates and protects electronics from dirt and water. Two side wings provide a tight and secure fit in plate thicknesses from 1 to 6 mm. An intelligent, active disturbing light suppression makes the sensors extremely insensitive to foreign light and other interference sources.
