Free Software Helps Design Electric Machines

Feb. 17, 2005
Simplorer Student Version (SV) V7, is a free, downloadable version of Simplorer, a multidomain simulation tool for designing electronic systems typically done in automotive, aerospace/defense, and industrial-automation companies.

The software is ideal for engineering students studying design topics in power electronics, drive technology, electromagnetic actuators and electric machines, controls, transportation technology, micro machining, mechatronics, and sensor systems. V7 gives users features for simulation using VHDL-AMS alone or with circuits, block diagrams, state machines, and Simplorer's other modeling languages.
