Linear Stepping Servomotor

Feb. 22, 2007
The QCI-L6 is a linear stepmotor with full servocontrol.

The closed-loop servocontrol boosts motor acceleration to over 8 g compared to a 1-g acceleration open loop. Maximum velocity is 6.4 fps. The forcer produces 6 lb of continuous force while drawing <3 A from a 12-to-48-V source. A 1- µm encoder creates ±25 µm accuracy and ±10 µm repeatability. Maximum platen length is 144 in.
