Captive Linear Actuator

March 23, 2006
The Z26000 captive linear actuator is available in three new metric strokes: 18, 25, and 31 mm. The extended travel of these actuators range from 0.0127 to 0.1016 mm/step and offers up to 4.5 kg of force.

The use of rare-earth magnets in the actuators improves efficiency for a higher output-force-to-volume ratio. Replacing rotary motors with the Z26000 reduces components and simplifies design.
