Low-cost hinge shaft collars feature a triple-link hinge and a captive clamp screw for easy assembly.

The collars consist of a one-piece assembly with two halves joined by a triple-link hinge and fastened by a captive clamp screw. Available in 15 sizes from 3/8 to 2-in. ID, made from steel or stainless steel, they provide the same holding power as standard two-piece collars. They have a smooth bore for protecting expensive shafts and will not crush thin-wall tubing.
