Cylindrical Roller Bearings

May 24, 2007
Single-row cylindrical roller bearings, made from clean bearing steel, come in 164 sizes in NU, NJ, and NUP versions.

Available in roller-guided and outer-ring-guided versions, the bearing cages are made from brass and polyamide; a pressed version will be available soon. The raceways surface finish helps reduce friction and lower operating temperature. The optimized geometries of the raceway and rolling elements increase load capacity and a modified cage design improves lubricant-film formation. Improved bearing-guiding flanges let the NJ and NUP bearings handle higher axial loads. Modified contact geometry and crowned inner raceways compensate for misalignments.
