Rugged notebook computer

March 8, 2007
The DA-130 Series of rugged notebook computers have a full-size, full-length PCI slot that accommodates almost any PCI card.

Examples include A/D cards for data-acquisition applications, interface cards for high-speed and video recording and replay, and scope cards for gigahertz and megahertz-transient-capture applications. The computers are based on an industry-standard mini-ITX form factor, not a proprietary one. Thus, unlike other notebook computers, the DA-130 can be upgraded simply by replacing the motherboard.
