Motion-Control Processor

Nov. 4, 2004
The ZMP-PCI Motion Controller is a PCIbased package built around a 64-bit ZMP controller that uses a 466-MHz Motorola PowerPC processor.

This double-precision-processor targets advanced servo-development environments. Controllers work over SynqNet motion-control networks which provide a 100-Mbps synchronous real-time connection between motion controllers and servo/stepper drives, custom network devices, and I/O modules. The ZMP controller family is compatible with the Motion Programming Interface (MPI). Code developed for XMP-SynqNet Series controllers is compatible with all ZMP-SynqNet controllers.
