    Enhancements in Windchill 8.0 simplify product development.

    Windchill 8 sports improved mechanical and electronic CAD data management and superior data management for Pro/E.


    Key features include improved LAN performance over previous Windchill releases. Pro/Intralink 8.0, a subset of Windchill PDMLink capabilities, lets users take advantage of Pro/E data management on an architecture that supports distributed product developments. Windchill PartsLink Classification and Reuse, a module of Windchill PDMLink, lets users load and manage a classification structure, classify parts, and create high-speed classification-based searches. Windchill Archive, an optional module, lets users collect, store, delete and restore documents and metadata to meet regulatory requirements.
