The SABR package provides a comprehensive toolkit for the simulation, analysis, and design of transmission gear, shaft, and bearing systems.

The software provides a user-friendly graphical environment for constructing transmissions rapidly and accurately. Users can model shafts with simple spreadsheetlike input. This reduces build time. A global bearing database allows consistent development across an organization while a local database stores individual conceptual bearing designs.
