Fixed And Variable-Displacement Motors

Oct. 26, 2006
The MFW and MVW fixed and variable displacement bi-directional motors come in two frame sizes and four displacements.

The MFW fixeddisplacement motor maintains constant torque with varying horsepower. The MVW variabledisplacement motor operates with constant horsepower and variable torque or constant torque or constant horsepower. When driven by a fixed-delivery hydrostatic pump and operating on constant horsepower and varying torque, the MVW can adjust speed over a 4:1 range.

Other features include: cylinder mounted in polymerous journal bearing for use with special fluids; completely enclosed; hard-on-hard rotating group for contaminant resistance; sealed front-shaft bearing; metered hydrodynamic or regenerative braking, maximum pressure of 4,500 psi; maximum speed to 3,000 rpm, and theoretical maximum displacement range of 0.86 to 2.83 cipr.
