New Product: Ultrasonic sensor

Jan. 24, 2008
The RPS-40-5 Ultrasonic Sensor has a detection range for fixed at 0.5 to 5 in.

Any object within the desired range, even if it is translucent, is detected, while objects outside of it are ignored. Background suppression is a standard. The detect point is independent of size, material, and reflectivity. The sensor can detect vibrating and/or tilting targets. It operates in dusty environments which makes it ideal for rugged conveyors, PC board handling equipment and fillers. RPS-40-5 is ideal for detecting clear objects.
