Refrigeration, Heater Controllers

May 25, 2006
Models 2696-C, 2697-C and 2696-H Hot and Cold Temperature Controllers provide high-accuracy electronic temperature control for hot, cold, or cold/defrost cycling.

Models 2696-C and 2697-C are designed for cold on/off temperature controls, with Model 2697-C also handling a defrost cycle. Controlled temperatures fall between 40 and 50°F. Model 2696-H is for hot on/off control for temperatures between 32 and 285°F. The controls provide a differential of 2°F, high-accuracy thermistor temperature sensing of ±2°F, and a setpoint adjustment of 1°F resolution set by potentiometer. Other features include time control, user temperature selection in °F or °C, and conformal coating for moist environments. Power requirements for the controller are 85 to 145 Vac 50/60 Hz and output is via a 15 or 30-A 240-Vac SPST relay.
