Concentric Gripper

May 11, 2006
The PZV 4-finger concentric gripper for industrial and automation tasks handles cylindrical workpieces palletized in a grid.

The device can also be a parallel gripper for clamping different parts by mounting two different sets of fingers. This eliminates changing tooling and reduces setup time. The gripper comes in four sizes and achieves grip forces from 580 to 7,100 N with strokes ranging from 6 to 25 mm/finger.
