Combination Motor and Controller

May 19, 2005
The Integramotor combines a brushless dc motor and speed control in one package.

The combination unit operates from regulated 24 Vdc and comes with or without an integral gearbox. Both parallel and in-line gearboxes are offered with outputs ranging from 1 to 2,500 rpm. Speed control and direction is via a ±5-Vdc input signal. Custom units include the 24-Vdc brushless motor, an open-loop voltage-mode PWM controller, direction input, dynamic braking, and a built-in 256 PPR two-channel encoder.
