Maintenance-Free Linear Bearings and Guide Systems

June 2, 2005
DryLin T linear bearings and guide systems resist woodchips and sawdust, making them ideal for sawmills, tool changers, wood chippers, and woodhandling equipment.

DryLin T are maintenance-free, adjustable, and the profile guide rails are dimensionally interchangeable with most conventional recirculating ball guides. A hard-anodizedaluminum T-shaped rail, an adjustable carriage made of clearanodized aluminum and gliding elements of iglide J polymer material blend, form a lightweight unit. The iglide J glide inserts combine lubrication-free operation and low wear rates.

The guides have a low rate of inertia for high acceleration speeds, lower noise levels than metal-on-metal equivalents, the capacity to withstand high static loads in all directions, and excellent vibration dampening.

DryLin T guides also find use in food, medical, and clean rooms, semiconductor wafer-handling systems, and test and measurement equipment.
