Vacuum-Gripper System

Nov. 22, 2006
The VGS 3010 is a flexible solution for automated material-handling applications.

Featuring a Duraflex suction cup and COAX cartridge, the decentralized vacuum system reliably grips porous surfaces, making it suited for handling corrugated boxes and containers. COAX technology integrates the internal components of a multistage vacuum pump into a vacuum cartridge. The result is a small, efficient, reliable system that permits high speeds in rotary feeder and robot-picker applications. The VGS 3010's vacuum pump avoids pressure losses inherent to traditional vacuum systems with a central vacuum pump, and can function at operating pressures below 45 psi.
