High-Heat Transfer Tubing

June 2, 2005
HTTT high-heat transfer tubing is a replacement for conventional graphite-based fluoropolymer tubing that can suffer chemical attack from agents commonly found in heat exchangers.

HTTT tubing eliminates this problem and boosts thermal conductivity up to 67%.

HTTT tubing comes in two base resins — fluorinatedethylenepropylene and perfluoroalkoxy. Both filler grades and the fluoropolymers have high thermal conductivity yet maintain excellent stress-crack resistance, essential for heat-exchanger applications. Plans are to offer a molding-grade resin to component manufacturers that will then supply compatible molded fittings and other parts.
