GPIB Interface

Jan. 11, 2007
The KPCI-488LP is a low-profile GPIB controller interface plug-in board and includes a driver library that's said to be fully compatible with widely used instrumentation.

The card works with 3.3 and 5-V PCI-bus systems. Full-height and half-height brackets are included for compatibility with low-profile PCs. The card supports the industry-standard Virtual Instrument Software Architecture (VISA) as well as various programming languages such as Visual Studio, .NET, Borland C Builder, LabView, and LabWindows. Support is included for Windows XP and 2000, and will be extended to Vista upon its release.
