Programmable Tilt Switch

July 13, 2006
The MCL single-axis programmable tilt switch is a combination of microprocessor-based electronics and a MCL TrueTilt sensor.

The device has a 4.5 to 28-V single power supply, ±45° sensing range, and unidirectional and bidirectional open-collector outputs. The field-settable switch avoids the wide hysteresis errors caused by temperature in most mercury and gravity-ball switches.
