Rigid Shaft Couplings

Aug. 4, 2005
Clamp-type rigid shaft couplings are precision machined from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum in bore sizes from 0.25 to 2.5-in. ID in PowerRing, and one, two, and three-piece styles.

The couplings can incorporate keyways, straight-through, and stepped bores mixing inch-metric dimensions, remachinable bores, and low-profile or heavy-wall designs. The products are easy to install and adjust, have nonmarring bores, and high-torsional holding power. Torque capacity of the 2.5-in. coupling is 8,000 lb-ft. For applications requiring higher torque, the same-size Power-Ring coupling offers 32,000 lb-ft.
