PTFE Hose

May 5, 2005
The Page-Flex PTFE hose assembly is an advanced design for use in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, and food-processing industries.

Using a stainless-steel helix wire mechanically fixed to each end fitting, the system provides end-to-end electrical continuity and stability. This design reduces minimum bend radius, increases flexibility, kink and vacuum resistance, and increases burst pressure by 25%. These features, the manufacturer claims, boosts safety margins and reliability, especially when working at elevated pressures or temperatures. The system, which comes in PTFE flare seal/triclamps and PTFE flare seal/swivel flanges, allows for increased "free length" and more flexibility in shorter hose assemblies.
