New Product: Antibacklash leadscrew

Nov. 8, 2007
The self-lubricating VHD Series antibacklash leadscrew provides low-drag torque through an axial take-up mechanism that creates a stiff spacer that expands to accommodate wear.

The assembly offers maximum load-carrying capability and high axial and radial stiffness. The leadscrew requires no grease to operate and, therefore, reduces noise and dust. Available leads are 1.27 mm/0.050 in. to 92 mm/3.6 in. and lengths up to 4 m/160 in.

The screws are manufactured from 303 stainless steel and can be coated with the optional Kerkote TFE extended-life coating.
