Bearings Products: Quieter Deep-Groove Bearings

July 10, 2008
FAG Generation C deep-groove ball bearings feature optimized ball and raceway surfaces and improved osculation between the rolling elements and the raceways that are said to cut noise by 50% and provide 35% less friction.

The reduced frictional torque and lower heat generation make the bearing suitable for higher speeds.

The HRS seal lip and shield geometries have been tuned to the bearing inner ring for effective protection against grease loss or contamination. A riveted steel cage supports higher-speed operations with more rigidity and less shock sensitivity.

The bearing dimensions are DIN standardized and can replace conventional bearings.
