Model 7302BM4 angular accelerometers give rotational and torsional measurements.

A temperature-compensated piezoresistive element in a Wheatstone bridge provides high rejection of cross-axis angular and linear accelerations. Units are fluid-damped to optimize frequency and phase response within a 0 to 250°F range. Frequency response is stable from 0 to 1,600 Hz and output is to 50,000 rad/sec2. Nominal sensitivity is 5.0 mV/krad/sec2 with 10-Vdc excitation voltage. Typical applications include measuring irregularities in shaft and drivetrain rotation in machine and turbine monitoring as well as automotive applications such as crash testing and chassis-vibration monitoring.
