Current-To-Pressure Transducer

May 10, 2007
The Type 590X I/P current-to-pressure transducer is sensitive to shock, vibration, and position change.

The Type 590X I/P current-to-pressure transducer is sensitive to shock, vibration, and position change. The unit uses open-loop control and a low-mass magnet for accurate pressure control. The transducer converts a variable electrical signal to a linearly proportional pneumatic output. The unit targets process-control valve-positioner applications used in HVAC, chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical and food processing. Specifications include 18-in. NPT porting; 4-to-20-mA input signal, 3 to 15, 3 to 27, and 6 to 30-psig output ranges; maximum supply pressure of 22 psi for the 3 to 15 output range and 42 psi for the rest; 2.4-scfm flow capacity, and 6-scfh air consumption.
