New Product: Digital multimeters

Nov. 8, 2007
Two new autoranging 4,000-count digital multimeters (DMM) have 3¾-digit displays and measure ac/dc voltages from 100 µV to 1,000 V; ac/ dc current from 400 µA to 10 A; and resistance from 0.1 Ω to 40 MΩ.

The Model 6300 “Five-in-One” multifunction DMM has built-in light level, sound level, and relative humidity and temperature capabilities. Model 6100 is a Category III-600V economy-priced DMM. Both units have “Smart Jacks” that light up to indicate appropriate input and flash and buzz to warn of overload and/or incorrect inputs.
