Machinery-Alignment System

Nov. 3, 2005
A new multipurpose Microgage alignment system improves machinery alignment and production efficiency.

The kit can measure and realign misaligned rolls and web systems, uneven travel on CNC machine tools, misaligned extrusion cagings, and poorly aligned bore tubes. The system consists of a four-axis laser mount combined with a Microgage laser. An electronic receiver catches the laser light anywhere along the laser beam path and the display gives a digital alignment readout, accurate to 0.0005 in. The beam can be redirected with a right-angle attachment for squareness and parallelism measurements.
