Liquid-Level Sensors

Feb. 17, 2005
Liquid-level sensor assemblies are designed for highpressure, high-temperature, and corrosive environments.

The bulkhead-penetrating assemblies come in capacitance and conductivity styles and can incorporate thermocouple temperature sensors. All types feature a soft sealant that keeps out liquid and gas, and the assemblies resist movement due to pressure differentials. Standard sensors have stainless-steel bodies and components, but alternative materials include Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel, and titanium. Mounting styles are threaded, weld, and flange, with neoprene, Viton, Teflon, lava, and Grafoil seals available. A wide range of standard and custom wire and probe seals come in various materials and mounting styles.
