New Product: Variable-Speed Control

Dec. 13, 2007
The MDrive34Plus2 contains a programmable digital oscillator for accurate speed control.

The all-in-one system uses a NEMA Size-34 high-torque brushless 1.8° motor (NEMA Size-17 and 23 motors also available). Features include two separate configurable speed control inputs that may be preset and digitally selected; 5-MHz output frequency; and three adjustable operation modes: voltage, current, and PWM. Step and direction output signals can control a second axis that follows the speed of the first. Input voltage ranges are 12 to 75 Vdc and oversized input capacitors minimize power-line surges. The controls operate at –40 to 75°C.
