Linear Stepping Actuator

Sept. 15, 2005
This Size-17 linear step actuator is a two-phase hybrid stepmotor combined with a leadscrew.

Maximum load capacity of the DSM4234LN linear actuator is 150 N (33.8 lb force) with a step size of 3.5 m (0.00138 in.) The front bearing is supported by a threaded nut adjustment for minimizing backlash. The leadscrew nut uses an extended length threaded shaft with a metric M4 thread at 0.7-mm (0.0276-in.) pitch.
