The PMC-328 powers, drives, and controls any two or fourphase stepping motor with phase currents up to 3 A.

Nonvolatile memory holds up to 100 lines of control programming or an external computer may control the unit via serial connection. The housing is 50.8 96.5 223.5 mm and holds the 48-Vdc power supply that operates from an 115/230 Vac at 50/60 Hz. Motor resolution is programmable up to 8 ministeps per full motor step. Control signals include eight I/O lines, an up/down counter, two limit inputs, two jog inputs, home, and run program inputs. Addressable systems allow daisy chaining up to 26 units for multiaxis, multimotor system integration.
