Electronic Pressure Switch

Nov. 17, 2005
The PK Series noncontact electronic pressure switch has no moving parts and is designed for hydraulic and pneumatic applications.

Features of the switch include a 316 stainless-steel process connection; welded, gastight measuring cell that reliably detects gas and liquid pressure to 5,800 psi; and the capability of 50 million switching cycles without drift. Two mechanical setup dials quickly rotate to establish setpoint and resetpoint that can be adjusted without system pressure and supply voltage. A locking device eliminates unintentional setpoint changes. Two LEDs indicate operation and switching status. Setpoint range is 5 to 100% of full scale and resetpoint range is 3 to 98% of full scale. The switches are three-wire pnp dc units in 0.25-in. NPT or G-1/4 BSPP port sizes.
