Electronic valve actuator

Dec. 8, 2005
The L75 Series of electric valve actuators are lightweight, compact, and powerful, according to the manufacturer.

They feature either a split-phase-capacitor ac reversing motor or a dc motor that drives a valve through a sealed, permanently lubricated geartrain. The actuators provide power in both directions through selected arcs from 20 through 300°. Options include cycle-length control, feedback potentiometer, position-indicator board, and a heater/thermostat. Other options are a condensation drain plug, 180° center-off kit, additional limit switches, AF-17 and DFP-17 positioner boards, a DFC-17 controller board, as well as Modbus, Profibus, and DeviceNet communication protocols.
