An integrated package offers the ultrahigh-pressure leak test and autofrettage systems for R&D and production of diesel-engine components.

The leak-test process measures leakage at system operating pressures in diesel-fuel system components such as rails, lines, and pumps. Standard systems for pressures to 100,000 psi are available. The system can be configured with custom, quick-change fixtures for high-volume production or universal configurations for R&D work.

The autofrettage system is used on tubes and vessels to prestress components by applying an internal pressure well beyond the component's normal service pressure. This process increases the component's practical service life many times over.
