    New Product: Custom PPS Resins

    Oct. 11, 2007
Custom polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resins come with various fillers and colors that may not be considered “standard” by other suppliers.

They include glass, PTFE, silicone, carbon fibers, tungsten, and combinations of these ingredients. PPS compounds can also be custom colored or alloyed with other polymers to improve impact resistance, reduce flash, cut costs, improve colorability, and provide other properties not possible with straight PPS resin. PPS can be ordered in low volumes to assist product development. Typical applications include automotive fuel rails, connectors and sensors, electrical connectors, and surface-mount applications.
