Convergent Sensor For Pinpoint Detection

June 16, 2005
The sensing window on the ML3 convergent sensor adapts to the application. White targets provide focal points of 120 mm and up while ignoring both foreground and background objects.

The 32 x 12 x 8-mm housing has a sensitivity adjustment that works with visible red or infrared LED sources. The self-contained design eliminates the need for an external amplifier and is available in both npn and pnp outputs.
