Hall-Effect Current Sensor

April 14, 2005
Hall-effect magnetic field sensors measure ac and bidirectional dc with a minimum 800-V isolation.

The ACS704 comes in a 1.7-mm-high SOIC8 package and is available in both 5 and 15-A versions. Accuracy exceeds 1.5% at 25°C. Packaging is leadfree compliant. Operation is from a single 5-V supply with the output ratiometric to the supply voltage.
