Circulation Heaters

May 11, 2006
Cast-X Series 2000 circulation heaters are designed so the material being heated never touches the heating elements.

They typically get applied in solvent heating, heat-transfer systems, ultrapure gas heating, food and beverage heating, paint heating, two-part foam and urethane heating, and DI water heating. They consist of a helical-coiled tube that is cast into an aluminum body with tubular elements. The aluminum body serves as the heat-transfer media between the tubular element and the coiled tube through which the fluid being heated passes. The fluid path is independent of the heater sheath, which allows sensitive and/or ultrapure materials to heat safely and prevents fluid contamination in the event of heater failure. There is an integrated thermostat and housing, and the fluid path is standard 316-stainless steel. Construction is nonwelded, which minimizes potential leakage. The device also self-drains when mounted vertically. Explosionproof enclosures are optional.
