Analog Output Card

April 14, 2005
The PCI-1724U has 32 channels of analog output on a single PCI-based interface card.

The card is compatible with both 5 and 3.3-V signaling with up to 1.5-kV isolation. The output range spans 10 to 10 V, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to 20 mA. Special features include a synchronized output and the ability to hold output values constant when reset without loss of power (hot reset). The interface incorporates BoardID that identifies two or more identical boards in the same computer. Targeted uses include V-command motion control, multiple-loop PID control, servocontrol, programmable voltage source or current sink, and process control.
