Save job-setup time

Jan. 11, 2007
The SmartCAM V13.5 family of software handles everything from two-axis work to complex three-axis molds, dies, and prototypes.

Users can make a "master job library" and populate it by capturing and collecting tooling, operation parameters, and speeds and feeds from previous SmartCAM files. The company says the stored data can be easily inserted into current jobs, letting users save 50% or more of the time previously required to set up new jobs.
