Two-Wire DC Proximity Sensors

Feb. 22, 2007
A series of two-wire dc sensors reduces the connection points in machine design by up to 33% over standard three-wire products.

The control load is connected in series with the two leads. The M12, M18, and M30-sized devices have switching speeds of 3.2, and 1kHz, respectively, and come in embeddable and nonembeddable fomats with plug or cable connections. Voltage range is from 10 to 65 Vds with 100-mA switching capacity. The sensors are also protected against short circuits, reversed polarities, and overloads.
