High Performance Forging Lubricant

Nov. 4, 2004
A heavyduty forging lubricant, Dyforge 312, is water based and contains microfine graphite and a proprietary binder.

The ultrahigh temperature lubricant is for warm and hot ferrous, super alloy, and powder-metal forgings. It can be used in dies with temperatures from 150 to 1,300°F. It reportedly provides good metal movement and superior antisolder properties for demanding aerospace applications as well other precision and net-shape forgings.
